It seems as Protech was bought by Ehrlich then Ehrlich was bought by Rentokil, the company has lost touch with the homeowners. In February I was notified, by phone, that Ehrlich was sending someone out for the semi-annual check and I did not need to be present (which is usual). They didn't show. I called customer service and they said I had not confirmed by appointment (this is new?). So we established a new appointment and the technician showed and I guess he did an inspection. Why do I guess? Because no report was left with me (as always been done in the past) and no report was mailed to me or emailed. There seems to be a huge disconnect between, scheduling, customer service , and operations. I've been a customer since 2017. I believe it is time to change and see if I can find a Local company. Thanks Ehrlich for your past work. Responding to your response: There is no need to contact me. I've cancelled the service. As a result of my cancellation request I was nicely informed that your company would be by to pick up all the devices. On 10 March Mr. Tyler rang my doorbell and he notified me that he was there to inspect the stations. I told him that he didn't need to inspect because I cancelled the service. He said he had not been told about the cancellation. However, he did remove of the stations. As an afterthought, when you remove stations it would be nice (but not required) if you filled in the holes in the ground when you remove the stations. hide

He kept us updated about his ETA by phone and text message... read moreMr. Donnel Roderick is the inspector from Ehlrich that came to our house for an inspection. He kept us updated about his ETA by phone and text messages. Once he arrived, he greeted us, asked questions pertinent to the problem, and proceeded to initiate the inspection. He took his time, and returned to give us the results of his inspection, complete with photos and a great explanation of the situation. He answered ALL of our questions, and we had many. He was patient, caring, extremely professional, and most of all, honest. He represents Ehrlich in a great manner and makes the company look good, through his demeanor, knowledge, and professionalism. I highly recommend this company, based on the behavior of this gentleman representing it so efficiently. My husband and I were truly impressed by this young man, and that’s not easy to achieve as both of us are former educators, who, combined, spent over 70 years in the classroom, and are able to recognize a good person/worker/professional when we encounter one. hide

He always get... read moreI have been using Ehrlich for our rental units in Hagerstown, MD. Their technician that I trust most to do the treatments is Chase Reed. He always gets in contact with me 24-48 hours before he goes out to a unit, lets me know the exact day and time he will be there, and gives me a follow up call to let me know how it went. There is nobody with better customer service then Chase. Guys like Chase Reed are why I continue to do business with Ehrlich. hide

It They have now sent me 2 ... read moreAs of start of 2023 the company was bought out by Rentokil located either in Cincinnati or Reading PA (who knows where). It They have now sent me 2 invoices to pay a bill I paid in early January (I have the image of the cashed check). It is next to impossible to contact them to correct their billing errors. Although when locally owned I had nothing but superior service I am very disappointed as the transition to the new lager company that owns them has not been good from a client perspective and I could no longer recommend them. hide
