Pest Control

1. How do your products affect the environment?
Bug Out Service is proud to use Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPM is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information combined with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage economically and effectively with the least possible hazard to people, property and the environment.

2. Why can’t I just do it myself?
Many products can be purchased by the consumer; however, using the correct application and proper amount of product, which are both necessary for the product to provide the best pest suppression, is important. Our highly trained service professionals have the training to provide more effective results. Proper identification of the pest is also necessary to determine the proper treatment. Products applied are labeled as required by law to be applied in the manner consistent with the label.

3. Are your services and products child and pet friendly?
Yes. back to questions

4. Will my neighbor’s pests affect my property?
An full property evaluation would be necessary to determine the pest pressure at your property.
back to questions

5. Why should I care if the property or home is treated four times a year?
The application has residual properties that are not as effective after three months. A quarterly inspection of the home is also a preventative measure to suppress pest invasion of your home.

6. Why don’t you come inside each service for pest control?
Our IPM approach to pest suppression focuses on where most of the pests come from—the outside of your home.  However, if you have a pest problem inside, please let your service professional know, and we’ll be happy to evaluate the issues and treat as needed.
back to questions

7. Will your service totally eliminate pests?
There are pests that are treated with the intent of elimination. Some we can eliminate, some we can not.
